I’m assuming most music lovers will have a list of bands/artists that they totally believe in but aren’t that big or well known. I’m no different.
So with that said, here are five bands i feel everyone should be listening to. Hopefully the other members of the 405 will post their lists too!
The Most Serene Republic
Challenging, progressive and ultimately fulfilling music. Each one of their albums could easily make my all-time top 10 albums list. Check out the Phages Ep.

Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin
Your life isn’t complete until you’ve heard this band. Think Beatles style pop with a more contemporary twist. New album Pershing is beautiful.

Featuring ex members of The Promise Ring and Dismemberment Plan, Maritime creates melodic indie so great, that even The Cure would enjoy.
