Our mixtapes of late have been sporadic at best but we assure you, we’re back and on time! So expect an awesome one every sunday from now on.
Inspiration was easy to come by this week as my usual trawl through my favourite blogs/websites led me to the fantastic With Indian Love. As i was looking through the latest posts i came to the summer playlist Tamara had made and i felt compelled to create my own but in a slightly different manner.
Rather than to pick the songs on the basis that i felt they encompassed summer, i’ve gone down the route ofchoosing them based on their relationship to the word.
It was simple really, the song had to either have the word summer in the title or in the title of the album that the song came from. I also allowed bands that have the word summer in their names too. From this process i feel i’ve put together 10 songs that cover the entire spectrum of emotions and feelings that come from the sunniest of seasons and i hope you enjoy.
