Yesterday I went on a fantastic trip to the beach, I have the sun burn to prove it, so I felt like making a mix-tape in honor of that. I wanted to create a mix-tape not just about the beach, but one for California in general, as its summer time and the beach is definitely the thing to do right now in California. Here are a few great songs featuring California, many of which I listened to yesterday on the drive to the beach, please enjoy.

The last sentence cracked me up. I was thinking “that Phantom Planet song is such a standard California song, why isn’t it….. Oh.” Hahah
I was driving through Los Angeles the other day and blasted California Dreaming like 6987435 times. So fitting. Nice.
