Os Gemeos are two graffiti artists (twins) from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Their show at Deitch projects in SoHo, NY was one of the best shows I have been to in a year or so. They installed the whole room to look like a city scene.
The majority of “paintings” where spray painted doors.
They hooked up a piano, so each piano note was individual linked to a different speaker. It played a bit like a sampler.
There was a also a really psychedelic sculpture they made (its in the picture). It was the shape of triangle and you could go inside it. It was made out of a material similar to a mirror, kind of like a cheap ceiling material from diners or movie theaters.
