I’m Elle Wagner,and I’m new here.
I live in Providence,RI - it’s alright, there’s very few places in my country I’d consider fabulous right now with our twisted government, but I’ll save that for another time. During some days I go to school (for advertising art direction) and intern for music labels, and others I travel all over the world and interview musicians I quite like along the way. It’s interesting, so I can’t complain. I have a tendency to ramble, so I’m going to try to keep this short. Really, all you need to know is that I’m going to try my damndest to produce interesting pieces for you, and hopefully you’ll get a kick out of that.
To attach a face to the name and remove any mystery, here’s what I look like as of a second ago:

So that’s that!
Here’s my music recommendation of the day: Ian Shane Tyler
He’s got too much talent to waste, and I don’t think he gets enough recognition by far. He’s a Las Vegas based musician, and his music is beautifully sculpted and tremendously catchy. I would definitely classify his music as pop rock, but much more well done than what I hear on the radio. You can tell his album, Through the Telescope, took him boatloads of time to create - and it paid off. My favorite tracks are “Every Flower Dies” (psst - if you are or ever were a fan of The Killers, I think you’ll especially appreciate this track) and “Mistakes”, but I really would be lying if I didn’t say I loved them all. He gets a glowing review in my book, but to each is own. I would elaborate further, but this isn’t so much a proper artist review as it is a nudge to listen to someone new and introduce myself. Real reviews, interviews, and all that jazz are shortly on their way, though!
Love,
Elle

Thanks everyone!
Andy - I can’t say I ever had the chance. However,I did go to the RISD Wunderground exhibit that displayed tons and tons of beautifully screenprinted concert posters from there..very inspirational. I have a lot of friends and mentors who have gone there, though.
