Todays roundup is packed full of the latest info on Of Montreal, Miley Cyrus vs Radiohead, Underage Festival, Lexapalooza, Amazing Baby, Prego, Dan Deacon, Metric and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart!
Of Montreal
Of Montreal has announced a brand new Shepherd’s Bush Empire show in July plus a string of UK festival appearances. Further to last week’s news, Athens Georgia’s finest are now playing Shepherd’s Bush Empire on the 14th July. Tickets are on sale from the same outlet as before, www.seetickets.com, and details of the support acts are yet to be confirmed.
Festivals-wise, Of Montreal are also set to play Oxegen and T In The Park over the weekend of the 10 – 12th July. Tickets go on sale for Oxegen on Friday 6th March, whereas T In The Park tickets are already selling fast.
Miley Cyrus vs Radiohead
Disney favourite Miley Cyrus isn't happy with Radiohead. Apparantly she wanted to meet them at the Grammys because they're the reason she went into music (wtf?) but they declined. She been quoted as saying "I'll ruin them".
Underage Festival
Following two hugely successful sold out events, Underage returns to Victoria Park for its third year. Founded by Sam Kilkoyne (now 17) the Underage Club and Underage Festival are the original and most revered under 18’s events in the world.
Ladyhawke, Metronomy, Esser and First Aid Kit are some of the first band to be announced but make sure you head to www.underagefestivals.com for more info!
Lexapalooza
Taking place on Saturday 20th June 2009 at North London ’s newest rock venue; The Gaff, Lexapalooza Festival returns with a wealth of eclectic artists performing across two stages from 1pm until late.

Prego
Hotly Tipped London space rockers Prego - Lamacq's first ‘New Favourite Band’ of 2009 - release their new download-only single ‘The Longest Calm’ on 13th April 2009 on Year Zero recordings, a label set up by NME scribe Mark Beaumont to release this one song only.

Love the band (they were AWESOME at White Air...about the only band that were) and I dig how much he's gotten into answering the questions. And Duncan, Sky Larkin are not boring.
