LOVEBOX


The LOVEBOX Weekender has announced that pop legends Duran Duran and hip hop collective N.E.R.D featuring Pharrell Williams will be joining festival founders Groove Armada as headline acts for the 2009 festival which will take place across the weekend of Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July at London’s Victoria Park.

Moshi Moshi Records


Influential indie label Moshi Moshi is proud to announce they’re hosting several live shows in New York and at SXSW 2009 in Austin Texas.

The first show kicks off with Sheffield indie pop duo Slow Club (pictured) this Friday 13th March in New York and continues over the weekend with performances from Casiokids. Then from Wednesday 18th March bands such as The Mae Shi, Still Flyin' and Au Revoir Simone will be playing SXSW, appearing at two Moshi Moshi parties and plenty more.

Adam Gnade


On May 19th Polyvinyl Record Co. will release "Your Friends Will Carry You Home," a 7" featuring the side-project Faux-Hoax, which features members of Gang of Four (Dave Allen), Menomena (Danny Seim), 31 Knots, and "talking-songs" artist Adam Gnade on vocals.

End of Road Festival


I've yet to go to the End of Road Festival but I feel this year that will change as they've announced some of the acts that will be playing and my god are they good.

Some of the acts that are playing include: Efterklang, Explosions In The Sky, Fleet Foxes, Mumford & Sons and Howlin Rain!
