Black Gold. No, not that annoying dirge. Not my preferred colour scheme when upholstering. Not, even, the subject of most of the bizarre spam e-mail I get. Incidentally, I received an interesting one today that opened by expressing regret and ‘not having the pleasure of knowing [my] mindset’.
Ok, ok, your curiosity is high, my ability to be obtuse is at its peak, and I’m about to reveal all.
Black Gold are an indie-rock band. DON’T STOP READING. Not until you listen to these Tommy Sunshine and Shark remixes. Quite simply brilliant; melodic funky, delicate and thumping at points, these two re-mixes are the perfect soundtrack to such gorgeous weather and the optimism I can feel in the air!
