Planet Earth are a London based band comprising of two core members, Sam and Nick. They've supported pretty much every cool band you can imagine from Slow Club to Noah and The Whale and it's about time they leap frog those bands to superstardom.
In terms of musical comparisons they don't sound a million miles away from the two previous bands I mentioned plus other London based folky/twee bands. It's all really lo-fi and incredibely pretty acoustic based music.
They've just released a single called 'Bergman Movies' (video below) and they've also got a CDR of demo's you can buy from their Myspace page for the bargain price of £6!

http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/14486-thats-how-we-burn/ 6.5 on Pitchfork. Does that change your point of view on the album? Perhaps now we'll appreciate it regardless. [view article]
