Todays news roundup includes all the latest festival additions, Blk Jks, ATP, The Wave Pictures, Nine Black Alps, The Datsuns and Current 93.
Festival News
Green Man has announced that Animal Collective (pictured above) will be playing, Datarock has been added to Loop Festival, Supergrass and Ash have been added to Truck '09 and Paul Weller will be performing at Hop Farm.
ATP have announced that F**K Buttons and Grizzly Bear will join the 'Vs. The Fans' lineup whilst Dianogah, Buffalo Killers and Distortion Felix have been added to the Breeders curated festival.
Nine Black Alps
Nine Black Alps have marked their return by making a free mp3 of new track ‘Buy Nothing’ (taken from their as-yet-untitled third album) available via their official website www.nineblackalps.com for a limited period of time now.
To coincide with the free track the band have also announced a short club tour kicking off on the 18th May. Full listings are below.

BLK JKS will embark on their first UK tour this month, including dates with Errors, HEALTH and Squarepusher. Please note that two more headline shows have been added: May 2 at the Freebutt in Brighton and May 6 at Bardens Boudoir in London.

The Wave Pictures release their latest album ‘If You Leave It Alone’ on the 4th May through Moshi Moshi. The band are currently on tour in the UK – full dates below – and are about to release the first single off the album, also called ‘If You Leave It Alone’, on the 13th April. Love the band (they were AWESOME at White Air...about the only band that were) and I dig how much he's gotten into answering the questions. And Duncan, Sky Larkin are not boring. Just because a band isn't thrust in the hyper-hyped over-saturated limelight within 6 months of their over-blogged first single doesn't mean they're not relevant! [view article]
