Brand New re-entered the studio in March 2008, and emerged earlier this year with a clutch of new songs that will form the basis of their new, as yet untitled, fourth album. The band are currently mixing with Dave Sardy (Cold War Kids, Oasis, LCD Soundsystem) ahead of a planned autumn release.

Stunning post-rock band For A Minor Reflection are playing a show at 229 (London) on the 17th of June. I recommend you check them out.

If the news that Thom Yorke would be playing a solo set at Latitude Festival this year, the organisers have announced that the following bands will also be playing!
Of Montreal ~ Maps ~ Lykke Li ~ Fever Ray ~ Paloma Faith ~ Local Natives ~ Mirrors ~ Sky Larkin ~ Villagers ~ Goldheart Assembly ~ Alfonzo ~ Camera Obscura ~ St Vincent

That's a cool interview with some genuine sounding dudes. The quotes attributed to them at the top are genius! [view article]

I ask for a round two against the pills! I liked how the pill ladies are on screen during the bridge portion of the song. I guess nothing can stop us music lovers from hearing music. :) [view article]

Thanks for sharing! I really like the use of the tom toms and the harmonics on the guitar. Nice touches. It adds more dimension when appropriate. [view article]
