Kings Of Convenience
Eirik Bøe and Erlend Øye, collectively Kings of Convenience, have unveiled the brand new
video for the first single "Boat Behind" to be taken from their first album in five years "Declaration Of Dependence".
This October also marks Kings of Convenience’s return to a London stage for the first time since 2004. They’ll mark the occasion by playing rare three gigs, including their biggest UK headline show to date at London’s Barbican.

Brakes
Rock Is Dodelijk is the first live album from Brakes. Their live set is notorious for its rambunctious energy and ear-splitting immediacy, and Rock Is Dodelijk faithfully captures the band’s thrilling crash through it. Hand-picked by Brakes partly from a hometown (Brighton, UK) show in August 2008, and partly from a May 2009 show in Cologne, Germany, this combination of tracks includes choice cuts and singles from their back catalogue - the track listing closely resembles a "best-of" compilation, but this record is far more than a simple hits collection.
Brakes will be touring in November to support the release of this record, both in the UK and in the US. The North American dates will be part of a FatCat touring showcase, alongside The Twilight Sad, Frightened Rabbit and We Were Promised Jetpacks.

Copy Haho
Copy Haho are a band from a town in Scotland called Stonehaven. No complaints about small town life - it’s nice, you should visit. The town boasts an impressive castle, and is also the birthplace of the founder of the BBC, the inventor of the pneumatic tyre and fountain pen.
A Limited 7" edition of the bands song "Wrong Direction" will be release OCTOBER 19th on TOO PURE.
This single is being put out to coincide with a busy period of touring, with them playing shows across the UK with both Los Campesinos! this October and then Good Shoes in November.

Our Brother The Native
Our Brother The Native's latest LP, ‘Sacred Psalms’ (FatCat, 2009) is a gorgeous, mature, hope-catalysing record that sees the band's combined influences simultaneously increase tenfold and be transcended by their ingenuity and intent. Tangentially connected to the burgeoning freak folk and new noise communities, but perhaps closer to individualists such as High Places or Bird Show, ‘Sacred Psalms’ is a great new album by a band who – amidst an ocean of derivitive/ generic copyists – really are finding their own voices and doing something a little bit different. We believe they fully deserve your attention. Featuring current core members Josh Bertram (vocals, guitar, saxophone, piano, banjo, organ, synth, drums /percussion, programming/samples/noise) and Chaz Knapp (vocals, guitar, banjo), the band's creative process has been a mixture of working individually in isolation, sending material and ideas back and forth across the internet, and occasionally coming together to rehearse, record and

Max Richter
Memoryhouse – a gorgeous collection of Classically-inclined original pieces by composer Max Richter - was initially released in 2002 on the BBC’s short-lived Late Junction label, but is now long out of print. Recorded by Richter with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra and critically lauded on its original release, Memoryhouse is quite deservedly held very dear to the broad-reaching post-classical field. 26th October 2009 will see a long-awaited re-release of this truly beautiful album on FatCat Records.

This will be Kelli Ali's last UK show of 2009 before she leaves for California to begin writing her next album. Playing songs from her critically acclaimed 'Rocking Horse' album (produced by Max Richter) as well as reworked versions of older songs and an original cover of the Wicker Man classic 'Willow's Song', Kelli Ali brings us a haunting folk set whichshimmers with flute and cello and the magical vocals of this mesmerizing singer song writer.

Posthumous Success Tom Brosseau's first new album of studio material in two years and his third FatCat full-length release, is conceptual, modern, playful, sometimes fun, dark and revealing.

Hey there :) Just wondered, did you take the pictures yourself? Its just im currently completing my Final Major Project for my publishing course and im making a music magazine. Having a massive problem with copywrite :/ If you did take the pictures would i be able to use the ones of pulled apart by horses? because they are the best ive found :P they really capture how mental they are.
