CHRIS GARNEAU - THE LUMINAIRE

Written by Danny Wadeson
Chris Garneau is a heart-wrenchingly delicate voice, an awesome mastery of the piano and very much the male counterpart of soviet songstress supreme Regina Spektor.

On Tuesday the 6th October Chris Garneau will be playing at The Luminaire in what should prove to be an excellent (hopefully quite intimate) gig.
We mention it because, despite being absolutely awesome, he seems relatively unknown here in the UK and The 405 can easily endorse his twee singer/songwriter ascendancy.
Also a definite man-crush...

Like the lead vocal and strings but not entirely sure about the odd scream-like noises in the background...! :) [view article]

You have the wrong Jamie T song up, this is unfair on poor Jamie... However I think Delphic kick ass too. [view article]

She and Him WTF? (did you see what i did there?) "Well all right, it's okay. We all get the slips sometimes, every day." Wow, clearly Deschanel is the next Morrissey. I really like the new Laura Marling though. [view article]
