INTRODUCING #4 JACKIE PAPER & LONELY JOE PARKER

The "itinerant romantic-in-rags", Lonely Joe Parker, and the Thomas Tantrum star, David Miatt, have joined forces as the sterling folk outfit, Jackie Paper & Lonely Joe Parker
Their EP, What's Wrong With Broken Glass, was released earlier this year on vinyl, but will be available for download and on Spotify, on 14th December. This is a strange, yet fantastic collaboration, as it consists of three songs by Parker, followed by two of Paper's, which belong together in a harmony of street-roaming Americana. It finishes with a spooky junkyard jam between the two artists, proving their perfect match as a duo.

You have the wrong Jamie T song up, this is unfair on poor Jamie... However I think Delphic kick ass too. [view article]

She and Him WTF? (did you see what i did there?) "Well all right, it's okay. We all get the slips sometimes, every day." Wow, clearly Deschanel is the next Morrissey. I really like the new Laura Marling though. [view article]

Well I find them boring. What's the appeal? Is it the 'they toured with Los Campesinos! so therefore they're good' argument? As for the 'surely due to hit the big time' comment, I'm pretty sure I heard that at this exact time last year about that album. When is this hitting the 'big time' going to happen exactly?
