Download Quazz's The Ant In The Shoe mixtape

    by Joe Thompson

Just outside of Houston, TX, in the town of Cypress, 18-year-old rapper Quazz dropped a new mixtape, The Ant in the Shoe. Spanning fifteen tracks, this mixtape has some stellar production all over it. Quazz has that southern style down, alternating moods and spitting verses laid-back on one track to come-ons to fury. Sampling Lana Del Rey's 'Video Games' on 'Chicken and Sushi', Quazz and his producers know how to craft some killer tracks that are worth your time. [read more]

Listen to 'Cave Boots' by Igloo Ghost

    by New Music Team

Recording under the moniker Igloo Ghost, 16-year-old Seamus Malliagh crafts instrumental hip-hop. Igloo Ghost dropped a great track, 'Cool Sweater', back in February and now he has shared a new set of beats, 'Cave Boots'. 'Cave Boots' is a shorter, but compellingly listenable track, cutting out way too soon for me. Expertly switching between gritty beats that melt into a trip-hop middle and back again, Igloo Ghost wears his Flying Lotus influences on his sleeve. [read more]

Listen to 'Actors' by Still Parade

    by Hayley Fox

Still Parade's debut track, 'Actors', is just as mystifying as they are. Apparently Still Parade, "is not about a place or a person. It's an inner state of mind, it's about letting go and being alone with your thoughts." Hmm. The same mantra definitely runs through the track with its gentle guitar and dusky vocal, giving it a thought-provoking quality. [read more]

Following its appearance in that Pepsi advert back in April, the full version of 'Grown Woman' by Beyoncé has finally surfaced, and as the lyrics suggest, she can do whatever she wants, right?
