405 Fashion: Summer Trend - Dip Dye
Dip dye is one of my favourite new trends this season. Gone are the embarrassing oversized dip dyed tees that you used to make in school on arts and crafts day, and here is a more sophisticated version with that hint of festival fashion.
Dip dye shorts are everywhere at the moment, especially in Topshop’s short section. Wear the dip dye trend in your dresses as well as your accessories. Pile on the bracelets and bangles for the carefree, clashed festival look. Dip dye is also at Asos and Zara with laid back, comfortable jumpers, t-shirts as well as folksy styles.
Combine your dip dye clothes with an item of clothing that is rock star worthy to create that individual look. The great thing with dip dye is that you can dress it down for casual day wear with simple dip dyed dresses and military boots, or dress it up with heels and glam makeup for that night out on the town.
Versus and Henry Holland as well as many other designers have their models rocking the dip dye trend in glamorous, preppy, and girly ways down the catwalk.
The only place to wear this trend this summer is on a muddy field, surrounded by tents and live music.
