Prior to the release of Hello Sadness last year, we caught up with Los Campesinos! to talk about the album, without actually talking about it. We discuss how the music industry has changed since they formed, how the band are perceived, diminishing attention spans, the fall of the 'guitar band' and their bro-step influences. Essentially everything that has shaped that album, without delving into Gareth Paisey's diary.
