405 Focus: Memoryhouse
"It just kind of snowballed into pop music, which we both love."
In the past few years Memoryhouse have become stronger and stronger. Formed in Toronto in 2010, Evan Abeele talked Denise Nouvion into writing and singing in a band. Last year saw them release The Years EP through Sub Pop followed by the release of their debut album, The Slideshow Effect, in February.
Performing songs from the new album including 'The Kids Were Wrong', Memoryhouse met the 405 in a tearoom in the middle of London.
You can watch the session/interview below, or via our TV Section. It's also available via our Youtube page (please watch in HD if possible).
The session/interview was recorded/edited by George and Louise Nindi. The band play Hoxton Bar & Grill on 29th August.
