Beck providing three new tracks for Playstation game
Beck has never been one to try and hide his nerdy tendencies, singing about being a ‘Loser’, providing music to the awesome comic book movie Scott Pilgrim vs The World and vocal appearances in Futurama and Space Ghost. So, it’s no big surprise to hear the scientologist is contributing three brand new songs for a video game.
The game, Sound Shapes, is a motion game for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita and the three tracks are 'Cities, 'Touch The People', and 'Spiral Staircase'. Interestingly, each songs act as levels, with the game aiming to mix music creation with game play. Other artists submitting tracks include Deadmau5 and Jim Guthrie. The game is out August 7th.
