Dirty Projectors announce new EP, unveil new video
Dirty Projectors are following up the release of their new album Swing Lo Magellan by releasing a new EP entitled About To Die.
The lead track, 'About To Die', is of course taken from Swing Lo Magellan, but it will be backed with three brand new songs.

This subtly enhanced Dirty Projectors remix of Phoenix's 'Entertainment' aired recently and follows on from the Grizzly Bear remix of the same track. Substituting some of the guitar-driven rawness of the original track for stop-start percussion and looping vocals, Dirty Projectors have managed to successfully attach their own spin here - making for a complimentary and downright excellent remix. To coincide with Dirty Projectorsâ forthcoming show at the Barbican in London as well as their recently announced UK festival appearances, they will be releasing 'Stillness Is The Move' as a 7â for the first time, on 19th July 2010. Originally released in Summer 2009 around their album, Bitte Orca, 'Stillness Is The Move' features a solo vocal piece from the bandâs Amber Coffman.
