Dum Dum Girl Dee Dee announces solo acoustic show
Following the deeply moving and sentimental release of second album Only In Dreams, Dum Dum Girls leader Dee Dee is set to play one-off solo acoustic show in London.
Confirmed for the 8th June at London's 'Hotel Street' venue (on Charing Cross Road), Dee Dee discusses the passing of her mother as an understandably intense influence upon her music, and specifially the track 'Coming Down'. She claims "That song came out of being in and out of awareness of the depth of the situation..." in dealing with her loss.
With Dee Dee's solo date now confirmed for June and a US and European tour confirmed for the following Autumn months, we look forward to seeing more of the Dum Dum Girls in the neat future.
