Edwyn Collins announces new album
Former Orange Juice frontman Edwyn Collins has announced details of a new solo album via BBC Radio 6. The new LP, entitled Understated, will be Collins' eighth solo album and is said to coincide with a film about the Scottish musician. An official release date is yet to be set but fans will have to wait until early 2013 to hear the new material.

80s band Orange Juice have announced the release of a comprehensive seven disc box set. Coals to Newcastle will be released on 8th November, and will contain six audio cds and one dvd, which includes 16 previously unreleased tracks and 23 previously unheard digitally.
