Field Day 2009 Baby!

On the 1st of August 2009 Field Day returns to Victoria Park for its third annual summer extravaganza. For a festival that's been plagued with issues over the last couple of years I'm glad that they're back and I'm also confident that this years festival will be one of the higlights of the summer and do you know why? Not only have they managed to put together yet another stellar line-up of cutting edge bands, they've managed to get Mogwai,  the grandaddys of post-rock/ambient noise, to headline! Other bands that make up the line-up (so far) are: Four Tet, Malcolm Middleton, James Yorkston, Apes And Androids and Errors. Even if you hate music you can still have fun at the cocunut shy courtesy of the village fete!
