Fiona Apple arrested in Texas
Update (21/09/12):
After spending a night in jail, Fiona Apple was freed on a $10,000 bond. The Hudspeth County Sheriff's Office announced that Apple "freely admitted" that the hash and weed found on the tour bus belonged to her. [via TMZ]

"Anything is legal in Texas" except possession of cannabis as singer-songwriter Fiona Apple has found out.
According to TMZ (who also obtained the above mug shot) the 35-year-old's bus was stopped by border control in Sierra Blanca and Apple was found to have both hashish and weed on her. The singer was due to play Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theatre tonight but is currently being held at Hudspeth County Jail for the time being. We'll bring you more information as soon as we have it.
