Florence Welch announces new project titled 'Side Project'

You see, when I was a kid, I would always think about band names and which one would be the perfect choice. One day, I thought I came to a brilliant realization. I'd name my band "The Band"! It was simply perfect. Soon after, I heard the actual band and that it had been a band many decades before I was born. It was like finding out that Santa Claus wasn't real and that your dad is actually a Manchester United fan at the same time. Oh well, you win some and lose some. In loosely related news, Florence Welch from Florence + The Machine recently announced a side project titled... Side Project to NME.

It'll evidently be a dance genre project and well, uh, hmm. Yeah. So I think I'll name my new band Unknown Artist or something. Or Limewire. You can expect to see any news out of this story as it breaks to the 405 and you can also view a quote from Welch herself below on the upcoming project.

"We actually have a dance outfit side project called Side Project. We made this weird house track that sounded quite churchy – to be confirmed! As yet it has never seen the light of day."

It seems to me that the dog days have not ended. They have actually just begun.
