Freddie Gibbs talks about his upcoming projects
Freddie Gibbs stopped by Pitchfork to give a few details on his upcoming album. His next LP, entitled Cocaine Pinata (and not the previously rumored MadGibbs), will be produced by the legendary Madlib. Gibbs will also be releasing his brand new solo album and new mixtapes. Freddie Gibbs and Madlib are gearing up to release their much anticipated collaborative album formerly known as Cocaine Piñata but now just plain Piñata LP. Building the hype and riding the wave of momentum, this Indiana rapper and Producer pair will be releasing their latest EP - the six-tracker entitled Deeper. This is their third EP to date after Thuggin' in 2011 and Shame in 2012 (which we admit you can hardly call 2 tracks an EP). [read more]
