France has great music. Only problem is; half the time it stays in France. That's why we're indebted to people like French Revolution who are doggedly committed to convincing awesome bands of Gallic persuasion to cross the English Channel and play for us. Read on for more information and excuse us for not trying out our French.
Friday 22nd October 2010 / 7:30pm-2am
@ The Macbeth / 70 Hoxton Street
Free Entry All Night.
After kicking off its 4th year triumphantly with the album launch of the fantastic Anoraak at Corsica Studios in September, October sees French Revolution once again joining up with the record label Oui Love and promoters/partners Atom Live. Taking over the Macbeth this month to rekindle the relationship that saw The Shoes rock a frenetic, crowded venue back in May, this time around they're very happy to announce a most exciting and eclectic line up of French talent.
What better than a completely free Friday night of fun, frolics and electro down at the Macbeth. All the musical guests are traversing the choppy Autumn waters of the Channel (or taking the Eurostar beneath it) to entertain a crowd of Brits, French ex-pats, students and French fans who travel to see their favourite Francais acts play on the London scene. Itâs this diverse audience coming together that makes French Revolution what it is.
