iamamiwhoami wins MTV Digital Genius Award
iamamiwhoami have a reason to be proud and/or surprised today, as MTV have awarded the group their 'Digital Genius' award - coming up on top over the likes of OK Go, Gorillaz and Radiohead.
The title was awarded as part of MTV'S 2012 O Music Awards, and you can watch a rather cheesy clip of the announcement - which features a Jersey Shore wannabe and a pair of befuddled hosts - right here.
iamamiwhoami release their debut album - which is part record, part 45-minute film - on 3rd September via Cooperative Music.
The record label recently revealed the people behind the group after months of mystery.
