Introducing #115 Lumière Collective

There's a new collective in town! We like the word, 'collective', because it brings about a very romantic connotation of like-minded, yet diverse musicians, all pitching in their talents to create something special beyond their own practices. As the group themselves put it: "Lumière Collective is a London based group of musicians, formed in the Autumn of 2010. From Contemporary Folk to Arabian Hip Hop, Lumière was founded on a familial love and collective spirit of invention and creative revelation." Seems like they have the right idea. Well, they certainly are a promising group, what with the inclusion of a band that has particularly wowed us this year, by the name of the SeaZora, who can be seen below in one of our recent video sessions: Also included are their equally talented friends, We Are Swift, Endorphin & Lyla and solo musicians who have collaborated in the past, but by forming this collective have made things official.
