This vibrant four piece have wowed audiences since late 2008, playing festivals and venues around the UK. They are one of the winners of the Q Magazine Glastonbury Emerging Talent and as a result will be performing at Glastonbury this year. With varied backgrounds, their music is both moving and hard to define. The band writes its music collectively and uses unusual instruments and techniques such as old electronic toys and replacing a bass with an electric violin, which has led to comparisons with bands as varied as Pink Floyd, Radiohead, TV On The Radio and Mars Volta.
They use experimental film footage when performing, which gives audiences a unique experience â a friend of mine described them as âthe best band Iâve seen in Londonâ. The first three tracks on their upcoming album, âThrough A Cathode Darklyâ have been produced with Daniel Knowles of Amusement Parks On Fire. Keep your eyes peeled for this one.
