Megadouche: Megadeth frontman accuses Obama of Aurora shooting
In what could possibly be the most preposterous claim you'll hear all year, Megadeth frontman, Dave Mustaine has accused American president Barack Obama of orchestrating the recent shooting in an Aurora cinema during a screening of the new Batman film.
The former Metallica member went on a rant about the US Commander in Chief during a recent show in Singapore, Mustaine is under the incredibly deluded impression that in order to have a new gun control bill passed through the American government, Obama is behind a series of recent shootings across the country. "Back in my country, my president is trying to pass a gun ban, so he’s staging all of these murders. The 'Fast and Furious' thing down at the border. And Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there. And now, the beautiful people at the Sikh temple." What the musician fails to realise is that these shootings only help the Republican party use the (ridiculous) argument that the American public's 'Right to bear arms' would help defend themselves from such an attack.
It would seem that in Dave’s eyes, trying to ban guns is making America the equivalent of 1940's Germany..."I was talking to JD, our promoter here tonight, and I was saying I don't know where I'm going to live if America keeps going the way it's going because it looks like it's turning into Nazi America." Which is rich coming from a man sat slightly right of Genghis Kahn. Mustaine is against same sex marriage and still believes that Obama was born in Kenya, a rumour that was part of a smear campaign during the last presidential election to try and confuse voters about his eligibility to become president. What a complete douche.
