Ministry of Sound to shut next month?
It seems at though one of London's club institutions might be forced to close next month.
Following a similar battle back in 2011, it seems Ministry of Sound will have to put their boxing gloves back on again to stop the proposed 41-storey block of flats being built next to their venue.
"The bottom line is if they build that block of flats, we are going to close," says owner James Palumbo. "If you've got a flat in the second floor in that building, you'd object to the noise."

An open letter to London Mayor Boris Johnson, who had previously promised that the club would be “safe and sound”, seems to have worked and after a hearing yesterday he stated that it “striked him as being essentially a dispute about neighbours which has not benefitted from the spirit of cooperation I would like to see.” [read more]
