Having performed at Les Inrocks festival, toured Japan, released their limited debut single âI Can Talkâ and signed to the ultra-cool label Kitsune; Two Door Cinema Club have this week been named as one of the fifteen acts on the BBC Soundpoll list. Miike Snow
Having released their critically-acclaimed debut album in October, Miike Snow return to the UK in January for a nationwide UK tour and will also release a brand new single âSilviaâ on Columbia Records on Monday 25th January. Definitely check out this band on the upside while you can, while they're still playing smallish venues.

Memory Tapes
Having delivered one of 2009âs outstanding releases, the enigmatic Memory Tapes returns in 2010 with a new single AND his debut live dates in the UK. Memory Tapes' new single is entitled 'Graphics' and will be released on the 18th of January via Something in Construction.
Meanwhile Memory Tapes hits UK shores in January for his first shows ever! Support for the London date comes from Pantha du Prince and SIC label mates Fitness Club Fiasco (http://soundcloud.com/illfit/fitness-club-fiasco-forest-city). Further dates to be announced.

As NYPC prepare to let âLost A Girlâ loose on the world wide web this coming Monday, December 14th, they are pleased to announce details of their spring club tour in support of their second album âThe Optimistâ.
The album, which finds the band on a true return to form, will be released on March 1st with the first show taking place in Portsmouth on the 15th. Be sure to see the return of 2007's finest: New Young Pony Club.

Jon Hopkins has just announced two London shows for the new year. He will perform on the 11th January 2010 at a Blank Canvas night at Kingâs Place and on the 23rd January at Shh! at Cecil Sharp House in Camden.

Codeine Velvet Club
Codeine Velvet Club, the sensational new band featuring chief Fratelli Jon Lawler and Glasgow chanteuse Lou Hickey, are appearing at the Concert in the Gardens on Thursday 31 December as part of the world-famous Edinburgh's Hogmanay. Edinburgh's Hogmanay runs from Tuesday 29 December 2009 until Saturday 2 January 2010.
Codeine Velvet Club will release a new single to coincide with the release of their eponymously titled debut album on December 28th '09. Side A will feature album highlight and 21st century wall of sound masterpiece " Hollywood" while the other Side A will feature Codeine Velvet Club's unique take on the Stone Roses' classic "I Am The Resurrection".
