Pitchfork Music Festival is set to touch down again next weekend in Union Park in Chicago, Illinois. The always stellar lineup features some of our favorites of the year so far, so we’re quite excited to be sending our writers to cover it. The countdown is on to 2000 Trees, and despite the country's recent bout of poor weather, the line up really looks set to shine! Taking place at the beautiful Upcote Farm in Gloucestershire, the festival has a small, friendly atmosphere with a capacity of just 4,500 people – all set to go out and have a most excellent weekend with fancy dress and a silent disco just a few of the treats on offer. I’ve just spent two hours going through the alphabetised list of bands playing SXSW and I’m already overwhelmed. I’ve not even stepped into an airport, packed a bikini or wrestled my suitcase lid shut. God help me. To say the least, SXSW is a daunting affair. There are of course the scheduled showcases, the parties that haven’t yet revealed their line ups five days prior to the start of the music event and the random barbecues I will stumble across with stirling line-ups.
