Questlove shares free 'Ludwiggy' breakbeat
Philly-born drummer, producer, DJ, Tweet-meister Questlove has decided to "full-fledge go back to his roots." This latest venture has resulted in him producing a breakbeat on his beloved Ludwig kit which has been made available to the proletariat for free. He wants people to slice, splice, and manipulate his beat into anything they want. Speaking of the idea recently, he said he was "a breakbeat-based drummer" who had "never gotten better grit than Ludwig."
Feel free to steal the sample 'Ludwiggy' via soundcloud right here, opportunist!
