Sónar unveil initial line-up feat. The Roots, Nicolas Jaar & more

The initial line-up for Sónar Festival 2012 has been unveiled and it's already looking like one of the essential festivals to go to this Summer.

The Barcelona edition of the Sónar series, which takes place June 14-16, will feature the following acts:

The Roots, Azari and III, Richard Hawtin, Nicolas Jaar, Mount Kimbie, John Talabot, Blawan, Jacqes Green, Peaking Lights, Deadmau5, Hot Chip, Fatboy Slimm Julio Bashmore, Modeselektor, Metronomy, Maria Minerva, LA Vampires, Thundercat, Lapalux and Friendly Fires.

One of the reasons why the line-up is looking so good, is down to the labels that are holding showcases: Hyperdub, Brainfeeder and 100% Silk are all present, which means the line-up is only going to get better and better ofver the coming weeks/months.
