As much as I know it’s a massive cliché, I actually can’t believe it’s Christmas again already. Where exactly did 2010 go? Probably down the back of a sofa somewhere. Anyway… This sudden onset of the festive season has taken me a bit unawares, but I’m always amazed at the power of music to change one’s mood. Hearing Hold Your Horse Is’ cover of Macca’s Wonderful Christmas Time finally sparked my Christmas spirit this year (If you haven’t heard it yet then you really should). Hopefully this playlist will have a similar effect for you, even if some of the songs are somewhat less cheery than others. Incidentally, I really wanted to include the Beach House, and Olympians Christmas songs, but neither of them are on Spotify, but do hunt them out and have a listen. Enjoy, and Happy Christmas! Matt.
