The 405 Gig Guide // 24th-30th September 2012
Birds Need Feet presents Stockholm...
Japandroids + Sleepy Sun – Hornstull Strand // 29th September 2012
Vancouver's Japandroids have been one of the most talked about acts for the past half year with the release of their second full-length, the excellent Celebration Rock. Now they're finally out on a proper European tour and on Saturday they're playing at Hornstull Strand, and thanks to the clubs Fritz's Corner and What We Do Is Secret Californian psychedelic rock act Sleepy Sun is opening the night. One of the finest double-bills in recent memory here in Stockholm.

Warehouse Project Launch Part One – Warehouse Project // 28th September 2012
Festival season has all but finished so that can only mean one thing: Warehouse Project! Many of you outside of Manchester may not have heard of this before, but it is essentially a series of huge all night gigs held in a disused warehouse. Cool, yes? Over the course of a few months, it holds host to some of the biggest and best names in music from a whole range of genres, from Justice, Magnetic man and Skrillex to Bloc Party, Theme Park and Lianne La Havas. This opening party sees the latter perform with around 37 other acts, including Scream and Katy B. Pretty good for one night!

Telepathe – The Fleece // 26th September 2012
Currently working on some kind of follow-up to 2009's Dance Mother. This Brooklyn duo are either playing at The Fleece or The Croft, but it keeps being moved/changed on various websites, so I actually have no idea where I'm heading to witness their return. Producing catchy and danceable pop nuggets, I am ridiculously excited to see them live, and you should be too.

We Are The Ocean – O2 Academy // 26th September 2012
The Uk’s answer to the now sadly-defunct Alexisonfire look to take on the band’s mantel with the release of third album ‘Maybe Today, Maybe Tomorrow’, the first since the departure of vocalist Dan Brown. It will be interesting to see how the band’s new dynamic minus his barked contributions goes down live.
