Far too long for a band with such atmospheric shows and anthemic sounds. The Brooklyn based indie rockers will be at the lovely Ritz this week, so it really is a double whammy of band and venue. Hiss Golden Messenger – Clwb Ifor Bach // 11th February 2011 The Joy Collective and Shape Records join forces to present this beast of an evening at Clwb Ifor Bach. Hiss Golden Messenger is North Carolinan MC Taylor, who brings his country/blues/gospel/folk music to Cardiff with the help of Voice Of The Seven Thunders’ Rick Tomlinson on guitar. Support comes from a less-than-common full band show from the psych-y darkness of Cate Le Bon, and a solo slot from the kraut-y, folk-y, psych wonder H. Hawkline.
