Hello!
Another week and another opportunity for you all to see what's on 'The 405 Radar!'. Last week we had a look at the amazing Sufjan Stevens and all the great music he's brought us over the years but this time we take a look at a young illustrator by the name of Kate Copeland! No, I don't have a thing for artists called Kate (check our Kate Moross article here!) but I most definitely have a penchant for amazing Illustrators!
Lets check her blurb!
"Currently studying BA Illustration at The Arts Institute Bournemouth.
Working as a versatile and enthusiastic student, creating images by piecing together cut-out bits of paper and semi realistic drawings. Similarly using this piece-by-piece construction to create hand drawn animations."
That's about as much as I know about Kate as a person, oh and that fact that she's only 19, which makes her extraordinary talent quite unbearable! I wish I had that amount of talent now and I'm a full 4 years older than her!
Lets have a look at why I feel she deserves to be noticed!
From what I can gather the above piece isn't complete yet but I still really love it!

Conclusion
As you can see, Kate Copeland has buckets and buckets of talent! She's created some really special art, worked for 4Talent Magazine/Anthem Magazine(US)/Indie Magazine (AU)/Plastique Magazine/Ilovefake Magazine/The Skinny Magazine/.Cent Magazine/Good vs Evil Zine/Sixty Million Postcards /Amersham Arms/The Lock Tavern /The Catch Bar/Refresh project / Bournemouth Council andThe Arts Institute at Bournemouth and all that the tender age of 19!
Wowza!
