The Beach Boys announce reissue campaign, compilations
Continuing with the band’s massive 50th anniversary, the Beach Boys are set to release several reissues, compilations, and DVDs. The news comes during the legendary band’s current reunion tour, which supports the group’s upcoming album That’s Why God Made The Radio.
The reissues come at the end of September, which will include: Surfin’ U.S.A., Surfer Girl, Little Deuce Coupe, Shut Down Volume 2, All Summer Long, The Beach Boys Today!, Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!), Beach Boys Party!, Pet Sounds, Smiley Smile, Sunflower, and Surf’s Up.
The group also announced the release of two giant greatest hits compilations in October, as well as a massive box set spanning the entirety of the group’s career set to be released some time after.
With The Beach Boys' much anticipated return being marked with the release of their new album That's Why God Made The Radio on Monday, it seems these infamous California surf-rockers are letting fans whet their appetites a couple of days early. [read more]
