The History Of Apple Pie - 'Do It Wrong' [405 Premiere]
Following the excellent 'Mallory' single of last year, The History Of Apple Pie have returned from what seems like a brief hiatus with a new track 'Do It Wrong'.
Often hailed as an exciting live band for all the right reasons, this new track certain captures more of their live spirit then previous recordings. It's a full-bodied affair, with the guitar and overall scuzz being amplified significantly. It also sounds more mature and realised than anything they've done previously, showing the obvious influence of Sonic Youth and 90s grunge.
A 7" of the single is set for release on the 6th of August via Marshall Teller Records, which can be pre- ordered here.
