The xx announce three new UK live dates
"Hi from LA! We have been on the road for the past months, playing cities and festivals around the world. On September 10th we release our new album and we couldn't be happier to spend that week in the UK, playing some very intimate shows at 3 beautiful venues."

- Tuesday Sept 11th Cardiff - Coal Exchange
- Wednesday Sept 12th Edinburgh - Usher Hall
Mark Lanegan, Warpaint and Martina Topley-Bird have covered 'Crystalised' by The xx. It's been given a soulful, soft rock spin, with the male/female vocals of Topely-Bird and Lanegan providing an in-sync duet, just like that of The xx. [read more]

Last night The xx performed with the BBC's philharmonic orchestra. Against Madley-Croft and Sim's retiring mutterings, the classic instruments added a swarming pureness to the band's signature sound.
