Two new dates added to Sigur Rós tour
Following the large demand for tickets, Icelandic four piece Sigur Rós have announced they are adding two extra shows to their UK tour next year.
The band, who released their sixth studio album Valtari earlier this year, had already announced five dates for March 2013 starting in Glasgow on the 2nd before stops in Manchester and Wolverhamption with two shows in London to end the string of shows.
These two new gigs will see the quartet stay an extra night in Manchester on the 4th March while Brixton Academy will host a third night on the 9th. Full dates as follows:
- 2 March – SECC, Glasgow
- 3 March – Apollo, Manchester
- 4 March – Apollo, Manchester (New date)
- 5 March – Civic, Wolverhampton
- 7 March – Brixton Academy, London
- 8 March – Brixton Academy, London
- 9 March – Brixton Academy, London (New date)
