Spike Jonze’s latest film Where The Wild Things Are hits cinemas today. His book has been a childhood staple since its publication in 1963 and Jonze worked with him closely on turning it into a full length feature film. The story sees boisterous but lonely Max (Max Records) run away from home after a fight with his mother (C... (continued) [read more]

That’s right, she’s back and she’s fucking irate. And why I hear you cry? What do you have to feel so angry about on this fine September evening? Twilight, that’s what. Wipe off those seats ladies, it’s Edward Cullen time. God I am so sick of this movie already and it’s not even out yet. The latest trailer for upcoming Twilight: New Moon is out, and surprisingly it’s an improvement on the last one. A little more action and less Bella-gets-a-paper-cut-and-Edward-bails... Bridget Jones III: The Search for Spunk

    by Krystal Sim

Working Title is to make a third Bridget Jones' Diary movie. Guess what that will be about? Yes, that's right. Babies. Well, more specifically the quest for babies. (WT take note Bridget Jones III: The Search for Spunk, it could work). Because of course, that is the third and final act of any woman's life, right? I know what you're thinking. That makes Edge of Reason this trilogy's Empire Strikes Back. I don't break this out often, but EPIC FAIL! But weren't there only two books, ... (continued) [read more]

Cornering the comic roles and bestriding both Marvel and DC. Oh and he's married to Scarlett Johansson. Makes you sick doesn't it? The Deadpool spin off movie is still on the cards but the announcement has raised a few eyebrows, as both movies will hit our screens in 2011. Green Lantern is a... (continued) [read more]

    Jackson death curbs Cohen

    by Krystal Sim

Sacha Baron Cohen has excised a clip from his latest movie Bruno out of respect for the late Michael Jackson. The offending scene saw his character, gay Austrian fashion reporter Bruno, trick Jackson's sister La Toya into an interview before stealing her mobile in order to get the star’s phone number. The scene was removed from the final cut of the film just hours before its Hollywood premier, on the same day the singer died from a reported cardiac arrest. The Bruno premier ...
