Every Monday for the next month we'll be bringing you an exclusive live Jonquil session in the lead up to the release of their new album, Point of Go (released March 5th). All four tracks are taken from the album, so hopefully this will serve as a nice taster of what to expect.
Today we bring you the wonderful 'History Of Headaches' (part one can be found here).
"The first half of this song started life as the break down section for a 6 minute disco jammer and the second as a creamy power ballad demo. Obviously putting those two things together should have been terrible but we were pleased with the happy accident."
The session was recorded at Evolution Studios, Oxford.
