Portasound - 'Messerschmitt'

Following the release of the video for their track 'Dreadnought', new London based synth troupe Portasound have revealed the second track and accompanying video from their forthcoming debut EP.

The Second Renaissance EP will be released on May 14th through Pink Mist collective label Blood and Biscuits (Also the home of Three Trapped Tigers, Sleep Party People, Tall Ships) featuring exquisite artwork and packaging for each individual track.

The Second Renaissance EP is the band's attempt to bring their narrative influences to fruition and it contains the great story of a battle between light and dark forces, the birth of a hero and also a rebellion.

Portasound have previously played shows with bands such as The XX, Metronomy, Three Trapped Tigers and Friendly Fires. The artwork for the EP has been created by Robert Evans of Telegramme Studio and leans towards hieroglyph style images that document each respective part to the story. It will be available on limited edition handmade cut-cover slipcases by ACDSleeve.
